Backstage

Tuesdays are Lewes Theatre's "Working Party" nights, this is when the backstage team come together to build sets, create lighting and sound cues and all other necessary backstage activity.
We are constantly looking for volunteers to help us backstage. No matter what your experience or interest, there are always things to do. Some of the areas you may find of interest are;
- Wardrobe
- Properties
- Lighting
- Set Building
- Set Painting and decorating
- Sound
- Front-of-house
- Box office
- Stage Management

Box office
The box office team look after ticket sales and enquiries in person, by phone and by email, before and during productions.

Front of House
The front-of-house team look after the audience, make the tea and coffee.

Bar
The Anthony Jenner Bar serves refreshments to the audience and to the working party on Tuesday evenings.
